This journey through the key highlights
of Madagascar’s diverse landscapes and
unique wildlife is the perfect introductory
tour for a first-time visitor. You will
have the chance to encounter many of
the different lemur species that have
evolved from the single group of ancient
ancestors that were cut adrift when the
island split from the Indian Subcontinent
88 million years ago. 90% of the island’s
flora and fauna are found nowhere else
on Earth and it is fascinating to observe
how life forms, such as lemurs, lizards,
frogs, birds and trees, have adapted
to thrive in almost every environment.
Your wildlife adventure ends with 3 days
relaxing on pristine white sand beaches
overlooking the Mozambique Channel.

wildlife and scenery here are sensational, with towering limestone outcrops, numerous
cascading waterfalls and perfectly clear plunge

Verreaux’s sifakas, an entertaining breed of
lemur that appears to ‘dance’ along the ground
as it makes its way from tree to tree. (B, L, D)
