Situated near the base of Mt Kenya and established in 1972 by the Craig family, Lewa Wilderness has played an integral part in the transformation of Lewa Downs from farmland to a non-profit wildlife conservancy. The luxurious camp has six hillside cottages with views of the surrounding valleys. Each features en suite facilities, a sitting area and a fireplace. In addition there are three garden cottages with two en suite bedrooms each. The main house offers an extensive library with areas to relax such as the property's gardens or the outdoor swimming pool.
