Opened in 2015, Wildtrack Safari Eco Lodge is ideally situated for wildlife viewing, with Kazuma and Sibuyu forest reserves both a short distance away. The property comprises just 11 rooms, with staff able to focus on providing a personal service to a small number of clients. Waterberry Zambezi Lodge is a small, friendly, informal lodge 30 minutes from Livingstone but in the heart of the wild. The comfortable bedrooms are set around sweeping lawns, some overlooking a secluded private dam with beautiful birdlife, some overlooking the river front. Waterberry is the perfect place to just relax and watch the view from the large terrace, the floating sundeck or around the large swimming pool.
The Hide is a small owner-run-and-managed tented camp located in a private concession adjacent to the north eastern sector of Hwange National Park. The camp itself sits among acacia woodland overlooking an old riverbed to a waterhole that regularly attracts elephants, giraffes and kudu, while lions and wild dogs also make sporadic appearances. Ten large, spacious A-frame tented chalets are classically styled with a contemporary twist. Cream walls, rugs, and bed linen are complemented by the dark wood bed, writing desk and luggage storage racks, all of which make for a fairly simple yet comfortable stay. All tents have en suite bathrooms, with a large indoor bath and outdoor shower, are mosquito proofed and have full mains electricity.
