Since the launch of Cox & Kings’ tours for solo travellers in 2014, interest in this holiday collection has grown rapidly.

The collection includes European holidays and short breaks, ranging from 3-night city breaks to Istanbul, Malta, Marrakech and Reykjavik, and week-long tours of Russia, Crete, Spain and Turkey. For those wanting to travel further afield, the brochure also features a number of tours in the Middle East, Far East, Latin America and Africa.

With more and more people travelling on their own, many still want the reassurance of being part of a group, without being a solo traveller among couples. Cathy Winston, editor of 101 Singles Holidays, was interviewed by Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 2 about the increase in interest for single traveller holidays and Cox & Kings is delighted to have been mentioned.

Our tours have no single supplements and everyone has their own twin or double room – not the small room by the noisy hotel lift. Every tour includes a welcome and farewell dinner so you can get to know your fellow travellers, but at other meal times you are generally free to eat out where and with whom you choose. Experienced tour managers accompany the groups throughout, supported by local guides and drivers, helping to bring out the very best of where you are.
