Cape Town's finest... Cape Grace Hotel

| August 3, 2011

Shameem Bhyat, one of Cox & Kings’ Africa experts, recently visited Cape Town and stayed at the Cape Grace Hotel.  Here she tells us why this hotel is so special.

This beautiful heritage building has a convenient location a few minutes walk away from the bustling Waterfront area. Walking into the lobby I was immediately greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos.  Looking around I noticed the quirkiness of the stylish interiors made up of handmade antiques and beautifully printed soft furnishings, all created to celebrate Cape Town’s heritage and floral kingdoms. From the luxurious guest rooms are great views overlooking the working harbour or yacht basin and Table Mountain.  Guests staying here can sit back and relax knowing that all of their personal requirements are taken care of by a team of highly dedicated, caring and professional people. The hotel’s Signal Restaurant is proud of its accolade for 'Best Deluxe Restaurant in the Waterfront', serving creative South African flavours in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere.  Overall, this hotel delivers all the creature comforts you’d expect from a luxury 5-star hotel and I look forward to returning one day soon.
