Meanwhile the tranquil Morne Fortune Hill has some remains of Fort Charlotte constructed by the French, and offers sweeping views of the town below. Nearby Rodney Bay is a popular spot for tourists, with a glorious marina, white beach and lots of restaurants and bars to keep you busy.
The area of Soufriere and the Pitons is a must-see; the landscape is simply breathtaking. Walk the Diamond Botanical Gardens; relax in on the lovely Anse Chastnet beach; explore Pitons waterfalls and visit sulphur springs, a drive-in volcano. Meanwhile, the Pitons which rise over 2,000 feet, dominate the landscape.
Don't miss seeing Marigot Bay – one of the most beautiful attractions, the cove is dotted with sparkling yachts bobbing in the turquoise waters.
