Nicknamed the ‘Spice Island’, this attractive destination includes Grenada itself, plus six smaller islands including Carriacou and Petite Martinique. 


On the main island, the capital of St George’s features a picturesque waterfront setting – one of the best in the Caribbean – and is easy to wander on foot through narrow, bustling streets. Stop at the lively Saturday market to experience the vivacity of the Grenadians while the scent of nutmeg and other spices linger in the air. Visit Fort George and Fort Frederick to learn about the battles between the British and the French and to enjoy panoramic views.

Further inland, rainforests, waterfalls and lakes lend their own scenic splendour whilst Grand Anse beach rates alongside any of the world’s finest stretches of sand.


This little laidback island offers a peaceful and off-the-beaten-track experience with some scenic hikes, lovely beaches, and snorkelling experiences. Many of the inhabitants of are African heritage, and can trace their ancestry back to specific tribes.
