Swaziland is one of the smallest countries in the world, blessed with a wealth of ancient history and culture the tiny kingdom is also home to one of Africa’s last remaining monarchies. With verdant mountains and forests to bush veld with big game animals, the country has much to explore while the Swazi are a friendly, relaxed and easy going people. Explore this tiny kingdom and enjoy the luxury accommodation and hospitality it has to offer – either on its own or in combination with South Africa and/or nearby Lesotho for an all-round African experience, visiting the three kingdoms.

At the heart of the country is the Ezulwini valley, known as the Royal Valley and home to the Swazi royal family.

Mkhaya Game Reserve is the flagship wildlife destination with an opportunity to see roan, tsessebe, sable antelope, black and white rhinos and elephants. There is also a very good arts and crafts industry with galleries selling wood carvings, candles, jewellery and woven rugs.

Visit the Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve located near the old gold rush town of Piggs Peak, see the old administrative capital of Manzini, or experience life in a traditional Swazi village with a cultural visit.
