The Schoone Oordt Country House is located in the historical district of Swellendam, close to the Dutch Reformed Church, the Drostdy Museum, and Marloth Nature Reserve. The house has a very peaceful setting, surrounded by landscaped gardens, fountains and a rose garden. Each of the 8 rooms and suites are decorated in keeping with the Victorian charm of the house, and they all have private patios or balconies. The restaurant uses the freshest ingredients from its garden and local farms to produce good quality, gourmet cuisine. There is also a bar / lounge and a swimming pool.
Jock Safari Lodge is situated in the largest private concession in the southern area of the Kruger National Park, at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers. It is approximately 35 km to the Skukuza airstrip and 150 km to the Kruger International airport. The lodge is also easily accessible by road from Johannesburg as the drives takes just over 5 hours. Jock Safari Lodge is located in a malaria area so guests are advised to take precautions. Also, the small park fee to enter Kruger National Park cannot be prepaid so must be paid on arrival at the park gate. Embracing the southern bank of the Bitou River in Plettenberg Bay, Emily Moon River Lodge is a small, exclusive lodge with accommodation for just 16 guests. Each luxurious suite is a separate lodge for two people, with their own sitting area, private viewing deck and spacious, fully appointed bathroom. The area is has fabulous trails for hikers.
