The Olive Grove Guest House is situated close to the city centre in a quiet area. There are nine en suite rooms featuring direct dial telephone, private safe, satellite television and air conditioning. The open air lounge, spa bath, plunge pool and tranquil garden are all wonderful settings in which to relax.
On the banks of the Tsauchab River lies the Hoodia Desert Lodge, 60 km from Sesriem. 12 ensuite and air conditioned tented bungalows offer privacy and relaxation. Each bungalow has an open air bathroom, shaded porch and stargazing platform. The restaurant offers traditional and international cuisine accompnaied by a selection of South African wines.
Fish River lodge is situated on the western rim of the canyon. Guests are accommodated in 20 contemporary stone chalets. Each chalet features an outdoor shower and, for those that would like to experience sleeping under the stars, an outdoor bed is available. Activities available from the lodge include walks and drives into the canyon.
Eagle's Nest Chalets are built into rounded granite boulders with a rugged granite-gneiss mountain as a backdrop. A 7-km drive from the main lodge, the Eagle's Nest Chalets are private self-catering retreats combining natural elements and boulders into their interiors in a rustic and luxurious blend. Choose whether to cook in the kitchen, on the fire, or to eat in the Desert Horse Inn restaurant; take-away breakfast or barbecue packs are available on request. Dunes Lodge is perched on top of a dune plateau, overlooking panoramic vistas in all directions and capturing the beauty of the desert in a most memorable way. Building style is a combination of wooden structures and canvas blinds, opening up to the desert beyond. The lodge has the ambience of a tented camp, but provides the comfort and protection of a permanent building. Each of the nine spacious chalets with en-suite bathrooms sports a private verandah, which connects you to vast stretches of untouched sand. Sleeping with your canvas blinds open is just like sleeping under the stars. The main complex consists of two lounges, a number of sundowner decks, a fireplace, a tea deck, a library, the wine cellar and two dining rooms. The lodge also has a swimming pool, which is suspended above the sand. All communal areas of the lodge open out onto decks with superb views.
