Day 4: To Hwange National ParkTransfer by road to a private concession within Hwange National Park for a 3-night stay at the Somalisa Expeditions Camp. (B, L, D)
Days 5-6: Hwange National ParkEnjoy 2 days of morning and afternoon safari activities in the concession surrounded by Zimbabwe’s largest national park. Hwange is home to huge numbers of Cape wild dogs and elephants, along with strong populations of lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs and several bird species. Activities may include game drives, bush walks, birdwatching and cultural visits. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Fly to Mana Pools National Park (Kanga Pan)Take a scenic light aircraft flight to the southwest corner of Mana Pools National Park, where you will stay on a private concession at the Kanga Camp for the next 2 nights. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Mana Pools National Park (Kanga Pan)Join two safari activities around the Kanga Pan, which, as one of the area’s only two water sources during the dry season, is often a very popular gathering spot for a huge number and variety of thirsty animals. (B, L, D)
Day 9: To Mana Pools (Nyamatusi)Transfer north-east by road to the Nyamatusi Camp, a relatively new property set in one of the most wild and remote sections of Mana Pools. Spend 2 nights here on the banks of the Zambezi, one of the oldest rivers in the world. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Mana Pools (Nyamatusi)Another day of safari activities which, if conditions allow, include a canoeing option, along with the usual game drives, bush walks and birding. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, antelopes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and many other species. (B, L, D)
Days 11-12: Fly to London via JohannesburgTake a light aircraft flight from Mana Pools to Harare, before boarding onward flights to Johannesburg and London, arriving the next day. (B) (N)

Kanga Camp is a seasonal bush camp located in a private concession overlooking the Kanga Pan in one of the more remote parts of Mana Pools National Park near the Ruckomechi river. The camp has six en suite Meru-style tents, built with solid wood beams and metal frames, with canvas walls and meshed windows. All feature hot and cold running water, electricity and an open-air bathroom with bucket shower, and a private veranda with views out to the pan. The communal camp area is raised on decking overlooking the Kanga Pan, which is the only above-surface water source in the area, and where lions, leopards, wild dogs, elephants, buffaloes, various antelope species and a multitude of birds are often seen.
