In the Linyanti you can take part in morning and afternoon drives in search of wildlife, the area's large population of elephants are particularly prominent during the dry winter months. Drives in the company of qualified guides can also include sightings of other species such as impalas, lechwes, giraffes and predators including lions, spotted hyenas and rare wild dogs. Birdwatching is second to none in the Linyanti, internationally recognised as an important bird habitat. Some of the lodges and camps also offer night drives, which are a superb opportunity to spot wildlife rarely seen during the day.
