Wildlife and San rock art drives

| May 15, 2020

Organised wildlife drives in the Savute often include a visit to the marsh with its large numbers of buffaloes, elephants and zebras. The Savute is home to the second-largest zebra migration in Africa, their movements closely tied to the arrival of the rains. The drives often visit the ancient San rock-paintings in the Gubatsa Hills, providing an opportunity to learn about the art and the nomadic people that created it thousands of years ago.
