Web only - In search of Polar Bears

| May 15, 2020

Just south of the Arctic, the Churchill area becomes a waiting area for polar bears; as the summer months of the northern hemisphere come to an end , they wait for the waters to refreeze. During this time there are a variety of ways to see these beautiful creatures - travel out on the Arctic tundra in a specially designed vehicle, explore the coastline by boat or venture out from a remote lodge. In addition to polar bears, other wildlife such as black bears, wolves, moose and birds can also be seen. Share:
