Sunset walk on the Cabot Trail

Join a guide for a hike along a section of Nova Scotia's most celebrated track, the Cabot Trail. This 297-km route covers the northern tip of the island, winding through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park where there are 28 walking trails. The 9km-long Skyline Trail, located 15 minutes from the park entrance, is recommended. Walk through the boreal forest to discover breathtaking scenery where the mountains plunge into the sea. Look out for resident moose, bald eagles overhead, and whales that may surface in the water below. As the darkness gently descends, look out across the horizon for views of the setting sun. Share:
