HD jungle walk & tree top canopy walkway

One of the best ways to explore the Danum Valley Conservation Area is with a stay at the Borneo Rainforest Lodge, located deep in the jungle. From the lodge there are numerous walking trails out into the jungle, with varying lengths and degrees of difficulty, from a gentle stroll along raised wooden platforms close to the lodge, to a more strenuous trek to the mountaintop burial site of a tribal leader. The area is far from Borneo's major tourist sites but, even so, larger mammals are difficult to spot, although pygmy elephants and wild orang utans have been sighted, and monkeys and birds can often be seen. Much of the rainforest fauna lives far from the forest floor high up in the treetops, meaning a walk along the canopy walkway is essential. From here visitors can gain a unique perspective of life in the rainforest, and much improved sightings of birds, monkeys and landscape views.
