Full day Cape Point and Peninsula tour (Shared Excursion)

| May 15, 2020

Embark on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula, taking in the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. From here, continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives. Once in the reserve, board a funicular to the top of the peninsula to see the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic oceans. Stop for lunch (payable locally) before continuing to the naval base at Simon's Town and visiting the African penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. En route back to Cape Town, stop at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, which are renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora on display. The estate, which covers 528 hectares, only grows indigenous South African plants and supports diverse fynbos flora and natural forest. The cultivated garden (36 hectares) displays collections of South African plants, particularly those from the winter rainfall region of the country.
