FD Li River Cruise with lunch

| May 15, 2020

The Li river has its source north of Guilin in the Mao'er mountains. It flows south through Guilin and Yangshuo until it merges with the Gui river, finally reaching the Pearl river where it enters the sea at Guangzhou in southern China. The section between Guilin and Yangshuo is particularly scenic, where the river meanders through dramatic limestone karst peaks and forested hills. A cruise here is a wonderful way to see this part of rural China, sailing past terraced rice fields and picturesque villages where you may catch a glimpse of locals fishing, washing clothes or bathing their water buffaloes.
