2 hour shared excursion: Yellow Waters cruise (operated by Yellow Waters cruise)

| May 15, 2020

Visit the Yellow Water billabong aboard an aluminium flat-bottom motorised vessel. This exciting cruise through the Kakadu wetlands is escorted by a local guide, who will pass on fascinating insights into this ancient wetland and the ways in which the indigenous Bininj people use the flora and fauna to support their way of life. About one third of Australia's bird species are represented in Kakadu National Park, with at least 60 species found in the wetlands including whistling ducks, magpie geese, eagles, jabiru storks and brolgas (Australian crane). The Yellow Water region is also an excellent place to spot saltwater crocodiles, which can grow up to five metres long.
