Day 1 – To New York: Fly from London to JFK International airport with British Airways. Transfer to a centrally located hotel for 4

Day 2 – Manhattan: Begin your day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world’s largest art galleries with a permanent collection of more than two million works of art. See paintings and sculptures from many European masters, art from classical antiquity and ancient Egypt and an extensive collection of modern and American art. Continue to the Neue Galerie, dedicated to German and Austrian art from the early 20th century, where a guided tour to see highlights of the special exhibition and the permanent collection has been arranged. Finally, visit the Guggenheim museum, housed in one of New York’s most iconic buildings. As well
as offering innovative exhibitions, the museum contains prized works from Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky and Joan Miró. (N)
Day 3 – Manhattan: This morning, visit the Museum of Modern Art, one hour before it opens to the general public. Home to the
world’s finest collection of contemporary art, Moma has exhibitions dedicated to the art of our time. In the afternoon, visit the Frick Collection, home to many traditional paintings, including works by Rembrandt and Bellini. (N)
Day 4 – Brooklyn & Manhattan: Visit the Brooklyn museum, one of the oldest andlargest art museums in the country. Its permanent collections represent a wide range of cultures from ancient Egyptian masterpieces to contemporary art. See the historic dock area of Lower Manhattan before continuing to the Whitney Museum of American Art, home
to one of the best collections of 20th-century American art. Farewell dinner. (D)
Day 5 – To London: Day at leisure for further independent exploration. Transfer to the airport for an overnight flight to London with British Airways. (N)
Day 6 – London: Arrive at London Heathrow late morning. (N)
