Conceived as a palatial hotel on wheels,
the Maharajas’ Express features luxuriously
appointed carriages equipped with every
modern amenity and comfort. Each carriage
comprises spacious and stylish passenger
cabins with climate control, LCD television,
and environmentally-friendly washrooms.
Other facilities include two fine dining
restaurant cars and an observation lounge
with its own bar and game tables. Suites, Junior
Suites and Presidential Suites are available at

Arrive in Bikaner and take a tour of the Junagarh Fort, one of the few
major forts of Rajasthan that was not built on
a hilltop. After lunch, drive to the outskirts of
the city for a camel-cart procession, followed

Morning arrival in Jaipur and visit
Amber Fort. Continue by jeep to the village of
Kukas for an exhibition elephant polo match.
After a Champagne lunch, there will be some
free time to explore the bustling markets of

Ranthambore for an early morning wildlife
drive. Continue to Agra with brunch on
board the train. Afternoon tour of Agra Fort.

Morning visit to the Taj
Mahal. A Champagne breakfast will be served
on the lawns of Taj Khema, overlooking the
Taj Mahal. Continue to Delhi, where you will
disembark. Transfer to the Taj Mahal Hotel for

the Jama Masjid Mosque, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s
