Set in 20 hectares of grounds on the scenic Puglia coast, the Borgo Egnazia has been styled on a traditional Puglia town, with a series of white tufa stone buildings containing 28 villas, 63 rooms in the main building and 92 rooms and villas in the Borgo Village section. All accommodations have a traditional, contemporary decor utilising locally sourced materials. Rooms are equipped with wireless internet, an LCD television and entertainment system with USB connection, a safe, minibar and either a balcony or terrace with country or sea views. The hotel has two gourmet restaurants offering both alfresco and indoor dining and serving a variety of traditional Mediterranean specialities using seasonal local ingredients. Other hotel facilities include three outdoor swimming pools, 1 heated indoor pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, three tennis courts, a small sandy beach and a spa offering a wide range of treatments.

Built as a convent in the 15th century, the building has been renovated as a modern 4-star hotel, happily retaining much of its original charm and architecture. The former chapel is now home to the breakfast room, while the inner cloister has been transformed into a terrace where guests relax and unwind after a day's exploring. Drinks and snacks are served here during the summer months.
