The Islands of Capri and Ischia
The islands in the Bay of Naples can be reached by
any one of the numerous ferries and hydrofoils that
operate daily. For Capri, the highlights are the little
harbour of Marina Piccola, the Carthusian monastery
and Villa Jovis, the imperial villa from which Tiberius
ruled. The island of Ischia is larger, with beautiful
gardens at La Mortella.
