2012 Itinerary & Prices

Day 1 – To Tel Aviv: Fly from London to Tel Aviv with British Airways. On arrival, transfer to the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv for 1 night. (N).

Day 2 – To Galilee: This morning visit the historic port of Jaffa before driving north to Galilee. En route, visit the ruins of the Roman city of Caesarea, the town of Haifa with its ornate Baha’i shrine and gardens, and the crusader city of Acre. Stay at the Kibbutz Lavi Hotel for 2 nights. (B, D)

Day 3 – Galilee: Full-day tour of the Christian sites around the Sea of Galilee, including the Mount of Beatitudes, from where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount, Capernaum, and Tabgha, site of the miracle of the loaves and fishes. (B, D)

Day 4 – To Jerusalem via Nazareth: Drive to Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home, and then to the remains of the Decapolis city of Beit She’an. Continue south to Jerusalem. Stay for 4 nights at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem. (B)

Day 5 – Jerusalem: Full-day tour of the old city of Jerusalem including the Mount of Olives, the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Temple Mount and the Western (Wailing) Wall. (B)

Day 6 – Jerusalem: Visit the Holocaust memorial at Yad Vashem and the Israel Museum and its Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. This afternoon, visit Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. (B)

Day 7 – Masada & The Dead Sea: This morning, drive to Masada, the rock fortress of King Herod and the final stronghold of the Jewish Zealots. Continue to the Dead Sea where there is the opportunity to float in the salt waters before returning to Jerusalem. (B, L)

Day 8 – To London: Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Tel Aviv and fly with British Airways to London. (B)
