Falkland Islands Encounters

Private  |  8 Days / 7 Nights
from £1795
Located 300 miles from the coast of Argentina with vast open spaces and pristine beaches, the Falkland Islands are home to a fascinating array of animal and plant life. In this unpolluted environment in the South Atlantic, visitors can encounter five species of penguin as well as elephant seal, sea lion and a host of southern ocean bird species. Discover the interesting and often turbulent history of the Falklands on a journey to these welcoming islands.
The Falklands can be visited as a part of an Antarctic voyage or accessed on its own, either flying from Santiago or Punta Arenas in Chile or on a direct charter flight from RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. Accommodation is in small hotels and lodges, and travel is by land and small aircraft with the Falkland Islands Government Air Service (FIGAS), providing excellent views of the coastline.
