Day 1 – To Delhi: Fly from London to Delhi with Virgin Atlantic. (N)

Day 2 – Delhi: Morning arrival and transfer to the Maidens Hotel for 2 nights. Afternoon at leisure. (N)

Day 3 – Delhi: Morning tour of Old Delhi, including the Red Fort, Jama Masjid mosque and Raj Ghat. Afternoon tour of New Delhi to see India Gate and the former viceregal residence. Continue to the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and the Qutb Minar tower. (B)

Day 4 – To Agra: Rise early and travel by train to Agra. Morning visit to the huge Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. Afternoon visit to the Taj Mahal. Stay overnight at The Radisson Hotel Agra. (B)

Day 5 – To Jaipur: Morning drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar as his capital in the 16th century and abandoned just 15 years later. Continue to Jaipur and stay 2 nights at Samode Haveli. (B)

Day 6 – Jaipur: Morning tour of the ancient palace of Amber Fort. Afternoon visit to the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. (B)

Day 7 – To Rohet: Full-day drive to Rohet, arriving late evening. Stay 2 nights at Rohetgarh. (B)

Day 8 – Jodhpur: Morning visit to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort and take a walking tour of the old city of Jodhpur and its markets. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 9 – To Deogarh: Morning drive to the village of Deogarh, visiting the exquisite Jain temples at Ranakpur en route. Stay overnight at Deogarh Mahal. The property is extremely atmospheric and is ideal location from which to discover the delights of rural Rajasthan. (B)

Day 10 – To Udaipur: Drive south to the lake city of Udaipur and stay at Fateh Garh for 2 nights. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 11 – Udaipur: Morning tour of the City Palace and Jagdish Temple. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 12 – To London: Transfer to the airport and fly to Delhi to connect with the Virgin Atlantic flight to London. (B)
