Day 1 – To Kolkata (Calcutta): Fly overnight from London to Kolkata, via Dubai, with Emirates. (N)

Day 2 – Kolkata: Arrive in Kolkata and transfer to the Taj Bengal for 2 nights. (N)

Day 3 – Kolkata: Morning visit to the flower market and cruise down the Hooghly river. Afternoon tour of British Calcutta. (B)

Day 4 – To Dibrugarh: Fly to Dibrugarh and stay for 3 nights in the Chang Bungalows. Afternoon tour of the tea estate. (B, L, D)

Day 5 – Dibrugarh: Drive to the town of Digboi to visit the Commonwealth War Cemetery. On your return visit the incredible Bells Temple. (B, L, D)

Day 6 – Dibrugarh: Morning cruise down the Brahmaputra in search of migratory birds and the elusive Gangetic dolphin. (B, L, D)

Day 7 – To Jorhat: Drive to Jorhat, the last capital of the Ahom kings. Stay 3 nights at the Thengal Manor. (B, L, D)

Day 8 – Jorhat: Morning visit to Sibsagar, the historic town home to numerous tombs, temples and ruined palaces of the Ahoms. (B, L, D)

Day 9 – Jorhat: Morning transfer by boat to Majuli, the largest river island in the world. Explore the Vaishnavite monasteries and traditional Assamese and Mishing tribal villages. (B, L, D)

Day 10 – To Kaziranga: Drive to Kaziranga National Park and stay for 2 nights at the Iora Resort. Late afternoon wildlife viewing. (B, L, D)

Day 11 – Kaziranga: Early morning and late afternoon wildlife viewing. (B, L, D)

Day 12 – To Guwahati: Early morning wildlife viewing. After lunch, continue to Guwahati. Overnight at the Hotel Dynasty. (B, L, D)

Day 13 – To Kolkata: Morning visit to the Kamakhya Temple. In the afternoon fly to Kolkata and stay overnight at the Taj Bengal. (B)

Day 14 – To London: Fly to London, via Dubai, with Emirates. (N)
