Day 1 – To Delhi: Overnight flight from London to Delhi with Jet Airways. (N)

Day 2 – Delhi: Arrive and transfer to the Eros Managed by Hilton (or similar) for 1 night. Afternoon tour of Old Delhi. (N)

Day 3 – To Agra: Morning tour of New Delhi. Afternoon drive to Agra and stay at the Gateway Hotel Agra (or similar) for 2 nights. (B)

Day 4 – Agra: Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. After breakfast, visit Agra Fort. This evening, visit Mehtab Bagh, the 400-year-old Mughal garden on the banks of the Yamuna to see the sun set over the Taj Mahal. (B)

Day 5 – To Jaipur: Morning drive to the deserted sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue to the former royal retreat of the rulers of Jaipur, the Gateway Hotel Ramgarh Lodge, for 3 nights. (B, D)

Day 6 – Jaipur: After breakfast, visit the ancient palace of Amber Fort. Afternoon visit to the City Palace, home of the present maharaja. (B, D)

Day 7 – Jaipur: Morning at leisure to relax, explore Jaipur’s many bazaars or take an optional tour of the ghost town of Bhangarh. (B, D)

Day 8 – To Delhi: Drive to Delhi via the beautiful palace at Samode, a fine blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Following a sightseeing tour and lunch (optional), continue to Delhi. Stay overnight at the Eros Managed by Hilton (or similar). (B)

Day 9 – To Kathmandu: Transfer to the airport and fly to Kathmandu. Stay at the the Shanker Hotel (or similar) for 3 nights. (B)

Day 10 – Kathmandu: Day at leisure. (B)

Day 11 – Kathmandu: Morning tour of Kathmandu, including Durbar Square and the Golden Swayambunath Stupa. Afternoon visit to the medieval city of Bhaktapur. (B)

Day 12 – To Chitwan: Option to take a spectacular early morning mountain flight to see Mount Everest (weather permitting). After breakfast, fly to Bharatpur and transfer to the Narayani Safari Lodge (or similar), set on the edge of Royal Chitwan National Park for 2 nights. Afternoon jungle walk. (B, L, D)

Day 13 – Chitwan: Early morning elephantback safari in search of rhinoceroses and elusive tigers. Later, take a boat excursion looking for gharials (marsh crocodiles), fresh water dolphins, otters and a wide variety of birds. In the afternoon, take a 4x4 safari looking for wildlife and later on visit the elephant stables. (B, L, D)

Day 14 – To Pokhara: Drive to Pokhara and stay 2 nights at the Shangri-La Village Resort (or similar). Afternoon tour of Pokhara. (B)

Day 15 – Pokhara: Morning trek to the World Peace Stupa for views over Pokhara and the Himalaya (weather permitting). Continue on foot to Phewa Lake and take a boat back to Pokhara. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 16 – To Kathmandu: Fly to Kathmandu.This afternoon, visit Pashupatinath and Bodhnath. Stay overnight at the the Shanker Hotel (or similar). (B)

Day 17 – To London: Fly to London, via Delhi, with Jet Airways. (B)

Activities: At Chitwan, the activities offered are subject to local conditions.
