Antarctica is best to visit between November and March when the ice starts to break up due to the arrival of summer. During this time it is breeding season for most animals. January and February are the warmest months, when the penguin chicks hatch while, February and March provides the best encounters with humpback and minke whales.

Chile is home to a variety of different climates due to its length. October to March is the best time to visit Santiago and the central region when the temperature is warm and there is very little rain. During this time the Atacama and the north are also very pleasant and the weather is sunny. Patagonia is best to visit in the summer when weather patterns are less severe and temperatures are at their warmest.

October to June is the best time to visit Cuba when the country experiences the dry season bringing warm temperatures and low rainfall.

Egypt's weather is comfortable and temperate for most of the year but generally the best times to visit are September to November and February to April when the heat isn't too strong. During these times it is also best to visit the Mediterranean coast when the weather is usually at its best here.

October to June is the best time to visit the highlands in Ethiopia due to the lack of rain and milder temperatures. During this time it is also best to visit the sites in Axum, Lalibela and Addis Ababa as the weather makes for a much more enjoyable visit. January is an excellent time to visit the country as the weather is good and the festival of Timkat is celebrated in the town of Bahar Dar. The festivals Meskal in Addis Ababa and Tsion Mariam in Axum are celebrated in September and November.

The best time to visit Guatemala is from November to April when the weather is drier. Altitude has a big impact on the country's climate. The central plateau including Guatemala City, Antigua and Lake Atitlan experience warm days and cool nights. The jungle region in the north around Tikal is hotter than the central plateau region.

The best time to visit Madagascar is between April and October during the dry season when there is very little rainfall and mild temperatures. During this time visits to the tropical islands such as Sainte Marie with and Nosy Komba are very pleasant and sightings of black lemur is plentiful. Between July and November a trip to Manafaify Beach is worthwhile for whale watching.

The best time to visit Oman is from October to April when the temperature is much milder and comfortable. During this time the coast is at its best as the humidity is low. Further inland the heat is much drier during this time making the heat much less oppressive.

The best time to visit The Cape is when the weather is at its warmest between November and March. If visiting the Kruger, wildlife viewing is good all year round although the best months to visit are in the dry season between May and September when animals congregate around the waterholes. The best time to visit the coast of KwaZulu-Natal is in the summer when temperatures are at their hottest. When moving further inland towards the Drakensberg mountains temperatures will cool significantly compared to the coast.

The best time to visit Argentina is between November to March when the weather is warm and dry. If visiting Patagonia the best times for wildlife viewing especially penguins and until December whales; are between October and March, during this time the weather is also at its best.

Australia can be visited year round. Seasons in the southern half of Australia are usually the opposite of those in the northern hemisphere: spring comes in September, summer is from December to February, autumn from March to May, and winter starts in June. The north coast has a wet season from November to April and a dry season from May to September. Central Australia has little heavy rain and is best between March and May.

Between October to mid-December and February to April are the best times to visit Bhutan as the weather is sunny and the temperatures are mild. The warmer weather is more prominent the further lowland you go in Bhutan as high mountainous areas are generally colder throughout the year. If travelling in the highlands skies are clearer and visibility is at its best between October and January.

From September until March is the best time to visit Brazil when the weather warm and sunny. If visiting Salvador and the north-east November to February is the best time to visit as sea breezes cool down the warmer days and rainfall is low.

The weather in Cambodia tends to be hot and humid all year. The rainy season falls between late April and September. The best time of year to visit is during the cooler and drier winter months between November and March.

The monsoon hits different regions at different times, affecting north and central India from May to September. In the south the monsoon generally lasts until October.

Japan's weather is very mixed and there are wide differences between the regions. The best time to visit Nepal is between October and April when the weather is warm and sunny. This prevails more the further lowland you go as the high mountainous areas are covered with snow and ice throughout the year. If visiting the highlands skies are clearer and visibility is at its best between October and January.

New Zealand’s weather can change unexpectedly, with cold fronts or tropical cyclones arriving quickly. Visitors should be prepared for sudden changes in weather and temperature, particularly if planning any outdoor activities. In summer, the average maximum temperature ranges between 20C and 30C and in winter between 10C and 15C. The warmest months are December to February. The north of New Zealand is subtropical, while the south has a more temperate climate.

The Seychelles is located in the tropics causing fairly constant temperatures all year round. June to October is the best time to visit the Seychelles, as there is very little rainfall and the temperatures are at their most comfortable. This gives visitors the best opportunity to explore the islands and what they have to offer.

The best time to visit Sri Lanka is between November and March even though the weather is consistently warm and sunny throughout the year. The coast usually experiences higher temperatures but the sea breeze keeps the air fresh during the day. In the higher mountainous areas during this time the weather is sunny but temperatures are usually lower here than on the coast.

Thailand has a tropical monsoon climate, divided into a wet and dry season. For the central and northern areas, including Bangkok and Chiang Mai, the best times to visit are between November and March, since it is very hot in April and rainy between May and October. The south-west bordering the Andaman Sea, including Phuket and Krabi, is driest between November and March, while the south-eastern coast bordering the Gulf of Thailand is best between May and October.

The best time to visit the U.A.E is between October and November and February to March when temperatures are mild and mild and comfortable and humidity are much lower. During this time is also little to no rainfall.

November to May during the dry season is the best time to visit Venezuela as temperatures are mild and there is a lower chance of rainfall. Merida and the Andes are also best to visit during this time as Merida enjoys pleasant warm weather, if travelling to the Andes the temperature is colder due to the higher altitude. The best time to visit Los Llanos is from December to April during dry season, due to the lack of vegetation wildlife is easier to spot and the land is more accessible.
