Day 1 – To Seoul: Fly with British Airways. (N)
Day 2 – Seoul: Arrive and transfer to the
Grand Ambassador Seoul for 3 nights. (N)
Day 3 – Seoul: Full-day tour of Seoul, including
Gyeongbok Palace, the Folklore Museum, the
Blue House, Namdaemun market, Seoul Tower,
Insadong antique street, Hanok traditional
village and the Cheongyecheon stream. (B, L)
Day 4 – Panmujom & DMZ: Optional
full-day shared tour of Panmujom and the
Demilitarised Zone (DMZ). (B, L)
Day 5 – To Songnisan: Morning visit to the
Korean folk village just outside Seoul, where
the lifestyle of the 18th and 19th centuries
is practised by today’s villagers. Continue to
Songnisan National Park and visit Beopjusa Temple. Overnight at Lake Hills Hotel. (B, L)
Day 6 – To Gyeongju: Morning drive
to Gyeongju. In the afternoon, visit
Cheomseongdae Astronomic Observatory
and Royal Tumuli Park, and enjoy a walking
tour in downtown Gyeongju where you will
see Bulguksa Temple. Stay at Hotel Hyundai
Gyeongju for 2 nights. (B, L)
Day 7 – Gyeongju: Full-day tour of Gyeongju,
including a visit to the Gwaeneung royal tomb
and the Seogguram grotto before taking a
scenic coastal drive to Guryongpo port. In the
afternoon, visit the four-faced buddha and the
National Museum. (B, L)
Day 8 – To Busan: Morning drive to Busan
and take a tour of the city. Visit Haeundae
beach and Apec House, Jagalchi fish market, Nampodong Street and Taejongdae Cliff
Park. End the day at Beomeosa temple. Stay
overnight at the Westin Chosun Busan. (B, L)
Day 9 – To Seoul: Return to Seoul by train and
stay at the Grand Ambassador Seoul. (B)
Day 10 – To London: Fly back to London and
arrive in the evening. (B)
