Day 1 – To Bangkok: Fly from London to Bangkok with Thai Airways. (N)

Day 2 – Bangkok: Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to the Sukhothai Hotel for 2 nights. (N)

Day 3 – Bangkok: Day at leisure. (B)

Day 4 – Eastern & Oriental Express: Evening transfer to the train station and board the sumptuous Eastern & Oriental Express for a 3-night journey. Enjoy the first gourmet dinner on board. (B, D)

Day 5 – Wang Po & Kwai river: Morning tour of the Kwai river. Return for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served travelling through the southern Thai countryside. (B, L, D)

Day 6 – Penang: Morning in northern Malaysia followed by a tour to colonial Penang. The rest of the day is spent travelling down the Malay peninsula. Relax in the observation car and enjoy dinner and cocktails. (B, L, D)

Day 7 – To Singapore: After breakfast on board, travel across the Straits of Johor into Singapore. Stay at the Fullerton Hotel for 2 nights. (B)

Day 8 – Singapore: Day at leisure. (B)

Day 9 – To London: Evening flight to London, via Bangkok, with Thai Airways. (B)

Day 10 – London: Morning arrival. (N)
