Day 1 – To Bangkok: Fly to Bangkok with Thai Airways. (B)

Day 2 – To Siem Reap: Arrive in Bangkok and fly to Siem Reap with Bangkok Airways. Stay at La Residence d’Angkor for 4 nights. (N)

Day 3 – Angkor: Full-day discovery of Angkor’s temples with an expert guide who will suggest ways of avoiding the crowds or see the places that interest you the most. (B, L)

Day 4 – Prek Toal: Full-day boat trip to Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary, the single most important breeding ground for globally threatened large waterbirds. Alternatively, visit Ang Trapeang Thmor with a birdwatching guide. (B, L)

Day 5 – Angkor: Full-day exploration of Angkor’s temples with an expert guide. End the day at Bayon until sunset. (B, L)

Day 6 – To Phnom Penh: Morning optional helicopter ride over Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap. This afternoon, fly to Phnom Penh and stay at the Raffles Hotel Le Royal for 3 nights. (B)

Day 7 – Phnom Penh: Visit the colourful Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and take a tour of the excellent National Museum. In the afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum of Crime. The day ends with a sunset cruise on the Mekong. Dinner at Malis restaurant, one of Cambodia’s finest. (B, D)

Day 8 – Phnom Penh: Morning walking tour of colonial Phnom Penh and visit the Russian Market. (B, L)

Day 9 – To the Cardamom mountains: In the afternoon, depart for Tatai in the Cardamom mountains and transfer to the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge for 3 nights. (B)

Days 10-11 – Cardamom mountains: Days at leisure. Excursions to visit a fishing village, the mangroves by kayak and the beautiful Tatai Waterfall are available (shared excursions included). (B)

Day 12 – To London: Return to Phnom Penh this morning and fly to London, via Bangkok, with Thai Airway. (B)

Day 13 – London: Morning arrival. (N)
