Day 1 – To Phnom Penh: Fly to Phnom Penh, via Bangkok, with Thai Airways. (N)

Day 2 – Phnom Penh: Arrive and transfer to Raffles Hotel Le Royal for 2 nights. (N)

Day 3 – Phnom Penh: Visit the colourful Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and take a tour of the excellent National Museum, with its collection of Angkor era art. In the afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum of Crime, a reminder of the Khmer Rouge regime. The day ends with a sunset cruise on the Mekong. Dinner at Malis restaurant, one of Cambodia’s finest. Day 4 – To Siem Reap: Fly to Siem Reap and stay at the Amansara for 3 nights. Afternoon tour of Angkor’s temples with an expert guide who will suggest ways of avoiding the crowds. (B)

Day 5 – Angkor Wat: Full-day tour of Angkor Wat and the other temples. You will have your own driver and guide, so the itinerary is flexible. Please consult your guide for advice on the best way to avoid the crowds or see the places that interest you the most. (B)

Day 6 – Angkor Wat: Morning tour of the Angkor temples and ruins with your private guide and driver. Spend the afternoon at leisure or take an optional helicopter tour over Angkor and Tonle Sap Lake – please ask for details. Dinner at Meric restaurant. (B, D)

Day 7 – To London: Transfer to the airport and fly to London, via Bangkok. (B)

Days 8 – London: Morning arrival in London. (N)
