Turkey has played a major role in the Mediterranean world and, due to its strategic location straddling two continents, it has been a crucial staging post on the trade routes between east and west. Tour Reviews

I have nothing but praise for this tour. I was travelling with my elderly mother and we both had the most fantastic time. The group gelled very well and we all had similar interests......Our guide in Istanbul was suburb but it was Sami (who took over at Izmir) who was a real gem. His knowledge of the subject was boundless and he took us up hill and down dale pointing out all things of interest. We ere also informed about all things Turkish ranging from learning so much of the language, to Turkish wrestling and much more besides. The coach drivers were both superb especially Hassan who managed to negotiate the roads in an exemplary manner.
