Poland Tailor-Made Holidays

Country Overview

Poland

Overview
Poland, could be considered to be one of Europe's most underrated countries in terms of tourist attractions. From rugged mountains and splendid old towns, such as Krakow and Zamosc, to sandy beaches on the Baltic coast and the wilderness of the Bialowieza National Park. Poland, with its strong cultural heritage, has much to offer visitors.

What to see

Krakow is possibly one of Poland's most popular cities, with its stunning renaissance square, the largest in Europe. During the summers months the streets teem with performers, and pavement cafes overflow onto the cobbles.

Northern Poland is dominated by lakes, hills, rivers and canals. The Malsurian lake District to the northeast, is home to Poland's deepest lake - Lake Hancza. The Baltic coast hosts over 500km of sandy beaches and jagged cliffs.

When to go
The best time to visit Poland is during the summer months from May to September.
