A tour to Peru can include the ancient, scenic or colonial highlights of the country. Private travel allows you the flexibility to choose your own itinerary, and on what you decide to focus.
Cox & Kings suggested itineraries visit Lima and Cuzco to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, include luxury trains or hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, tours to deep blue Lake Titicaca and impressive Colca Canyon. Explore the country by rail, or the Peruvian Amazon by boat and take the family to experience this breathtaking country.
A visit to Peru can be combined with any of its neighbouring countries. A scenic journey across Lake Titicaca takes travellers to Bolivia, while direct flights from Lima to other South American destinations such as Rio de Janeiro, Iguaçu or Bogotá offer the chance to explore vibrant cities and discover amazing natural and cultural sites in one trip.
All of the itineraries listed below are suggestions only, created by Cox & Kings South America experts. If you would like to tweak any of these itineraries, or to create an entirely bespoke holiday to Peru, please contact us.

We have highlighted the standard of accommodation featured on a tour immediately above the tour itinerary.
In some cases, tours include some departures in one category and some in another: you can see and select the different tour types under ‘tour variations’. For these tours, the itinerary is generally the same and just the standard of accommodation varies. However, if there are any variations in the excursions included, these are shown within the itinerary.
Superior: Most Cox & Kings tours fall under this category and are based in 4- or 5-star accommodation, or the best available.
Luxury: These tours will usually feature 5-star de luxe accommodation throughout.
Standard: Simpler in emphasis, these itineraries typically feature 3- and 4-star accommodation throughout.
Discovery: This type of holiday is best suited to the hardier traveller, as it will typically include some quite basic accommodation, possibly longer and rougher road journeys and, in some cases, more arduous activities, such as trekking.
