Overnight flight from London to Lima, via
Bogotá, with Avianca. (N)
Morning arrival. Transfer to the Jose Antonio
Hotel or similar for 1 night, including immediate
occupancy. Afternoon at leisure or take optional
excursions. In the evening, enjoy a welcome

This morning explore the colonial and modern
highlights of Lima, including the Huaca
Pucllana, a pre-Colombian site, and the historic
masterpiece of San Francisco monastery.
Afternoon flight to Cuzco, set high in the Andes
mountains. Transfer to the Sacred Valley with a
wealth of Inca sites and great natural beauty.
Stay for 2 nights at the Hacienda del Valle. (B)
In the morning, visit the colourful Pisac market
and the Inca fortress at Ollantaytambo, an
astounding feat of construction and ingenuity.
The afternoon is at leisure to relax or explore the
beautiful surroundings. (B)
Transfer to Ollanta station and take the train to
Machu Picchu. Tour the ruins and stay overnight
at El Mapi Hotel. (B, L, D)
Morning at leisure or further explore Machu
Picchu (purchase ticket at time of booking).
Return to Cuzco by train and transfer to Los
Portales for 2 nights. The ancient Inca capital
has beautiful colonial churches and mansions
sitting alongside Inca remains. (B)
Morning guided tour of Cuzco, including the
cathedral, the extraordinary Koricancha (Temple
of the Sun) and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman.
Afternoon at leisure. (B)

on the shores of Lake Titicaca (approximately
10 hours). Relax over lunch with a pisco sour
and music in the observation car as you pass
small valley towns, cultivated terraces, high
Andean peaks, mountain streams and

Visit the floating reed Uros reed islands and
Taquile island on a full-day tour with a homecooked
lunch prepared by a local family. In the
evening enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional
