Ecuador & Galapagos holidays
Access to the Galapagos is via the local airports on Baltra and San Cristóbal and, from there, a Galapagos cruise provides the best opportunity to see the most of these unique islands.
Cox & Kings uses a selection of first class vessels that provide excellent service and expert guides. Boats of all sizes and styles offer anything from 3- or 4-night cruises to longer 7- or 14-night explorations. Each cruise offers a unique itinerary with daily shore excursions, stopping off at a selection of islands to see different wildlife. Remember, if there is a particular species of animal you want to see it is important to make sure the boat you choose sails to the island it can be found on.
Aside from Galapagos cruise holidays, discover the Amazon rainforest on a river cruise. Navigating the waterways of the Napo river, search for tropical flora and fauna and visit local communities along the way.

In some cases, tours include some departures in one category and some in another: you can see and select the different tour types under ‘tour variations’. For these tours, the itinerary is generally the same and just the standard of accommodation varies. However, if there are any variations in the excursions included, these are shown within the itinerary.
Superior: Most Cox & Kings tours fall under this category and are based in 4- or 5-star accommodation, or the best available.
Luxury: These tours will usually feature 5-star de luxe accommodation throughout.
Standard: Simpler in emphasis, these itineraries typically feature 3- and 4-star accommodation throughout.
Discovery: This type of holiday is best suited to the hardier traveller, as it will typically include some quite basic accommodation, possibly longer and rougher road journeys and, in some cases, more arduous activities, such as trekking.
