Collect your hire car this morning and drive
along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway to the
mountain resort of Whistler. Upon arrival, stay 2
nights at Nita Lake Lodge. (N)
Day at leisure in Whistler. Recommended
attractions include the Peak 2 Peak gondola
(ticket included) for panoramic views of the
surrounding landscapes and the Squamish
Lil’wat Cultural Centre for an insight into the
indigenous peoples of the area. (B)
Drive west to the magnificent Sunshine Coast.
Stay for 2 nights at the West Coast Wilderness
At leisure to relax or explore the pretty beaches
and small towns of the Sunshine Coast. (N)
Today begins with a drive to Powell River to
board a car ferry over to Comox on Vancouver
Island. On arrival, drive north to Campbell River.
Stay overnight at Painter’s Lodge. (N)
Drive to the small town of Tofino on Vancouver
Island’s rugged west coast today. On arrival, stay
2 nights at the Wickaninnish Inn. (N)
This morning, join a half-day shared cruise
exploring the fjord inlets of Clayoquot Sound in search of either black bears or gray whales. (N)
Drive to British Columbia’s capital city, Victoria,
passing through Duncan, a small city known for
its totem poles. On arrival, stay 2 nights at Oak
Bay Beach Hotel. (N)
Day at leisure. Entrance to nearby Butchart
gardens is included. Other recommended
activities include whale watching or afternoon
tea at the historic Fairmont Empress Hotel. (N)
Board a ferry back to the mainland and drive
to Vancouver. Drop off your hire car, then make
your own way to the Rosewood Hotel Georgia
