Collect your car hire and drive to Lunenburg
visiting Peggy’s Cove en route – a small coastal
village with a famous lighthouse above the
granite rock that overlooks the Atlantic. On
arrival in Lunenburg, stay for 2 nights at the

Wander through the Old Town of Lunenburg
to explore the colourful historic homes and
Cross the peninsula to Annapolis Royal, known
for its range of fine inns and galleries. Stay 2

Explore the town or drive to Brier island
(approximately 2.5 hours) for a shared whalewatching
cruise* in search of humpback, finback
and minke whales found in the nutrient-rich
waters of the Bay of Fundy. (B)
Follow the coastline to Wolfville. We recommend
continuing to visit the Grand-Pré National
Historic site, a park to commemorate Acadian
settlement and deportation, before returning
