Fly to Casablanca. Overnight at the Art Palace

Morning tour of Casablanca, Morocco’s largest
city. After lunch, continue to Rabat for a
sightseeing tour. Overnight at the Dar El Kebira
(or similar), in the heart of the old town. (B, D)
Continue to Meknes and take a tour on arrival,
including a visit to Bab El Mansour, the grandest
of all imperial Moroccan gateways. After lunch,
continue to Fez. Stay at the Riad Ghita (or
similar) for 2 nights (B, D)
Spend the day exploring Fez, the oldest of the
imperial cities, which in ancient times was the
home of scholars, artisans and imams. (B, D)
Early morning departure for Marrakech via
a Berber village. Stay at the Riad Slitine for
2 nights. Located inside Marrakech’s vibrant medina, this stylish riad provides a calm oasis
away from the bustling city. (B, D)
A day of sightseeing in Marrakech. Spend
the afternoon in the souks and wandering in
Djemaa el Fna square. Optional dinner in a restaurant with a local folklore show. (B, L)
Morning at leisure to explore the city further.
Depart for Casablanca in the afternoon.

Dar El Kebira is located in the heart of the Medina of Rabat, close to the Kasbah of Oudayas. The Moorish building has been completely restored and furnished providing tranquillity and well-being in a Moroccan style. The riads restaurant is decorated with Moroccan divans, a colossal fireplace with ancient Moroccan pottery and serves traditional Moroccan cuisine such as couscous, tagines, pastilla and harira.

The Riad Ghita is located in the heart of the Medina in Fez. Previously a 16th century palace, it has been carefully restored to include modern comforts while maintaining its history. Located in the heart of the Medina, Riad Slitine is just a 5 minute walk from Djemma El Fna square and the nearby Jewish Quarter. It comprises of 3 interconnecting riads dating back to the 17th and 18th century and has 8 rooms and suites individually decorated in a Moroccan style. There is a small pool, hammam, massage, jacuzzi and beauty room and a restaurant. Due to the traditional architecture and design of the riad, the rooms may have small windows which are interior facing into the public areas of the riad.
