Full-day city tour of Marrakech. Highlights
include the Bahia Palace, the famous Menara
Gardens, Koutoubia mosque and the bustling
souks. Finish at Djemaa el Fna market square,
a swirling carnival of musicians, fire eaters,

Morning at leisure to explore Marrakech further.
Afternoon drive to Casablanca and stay for 1
night at the Art Palace (or similar). (B)
Morning city tour of Casablanca including
the medina, Mohammed V Square, United
Nations Square and the exterior of the Hassan
II mosque. After lunch, drive to Rabat. Your
afternoon tour of the city will include the
Oudayas Garden, the ramparts and walls of
the Royal Palace and the Hassan Tower with its
mausoleum. Stay one night at the Riad Kalaa
(or similar). (B)
En route to Fez, stop at the Unesco world
heritage site of Meknes, now one of the
quieter imperial cities but once the heart of
the Moroccan sultanate. The nearby Roman
ruins of Volubilis mark the westward extent of
the Roman empire, the wealth of its former
inhabitants evident in the array of wonderful
mosaics left behind. Spend 2 nights at the Riad
Arabesque (or similar). (B)
Full-day tour of Fez, the oldest of Morocco’s
imperial cities. Visit the courtyard of the
Kairaouine mosque, the Bou Inania madrasa,
the Nejjarine fountain, the Jewish quarter
(mellah), the Palace of Fez El Bali, the tanneries
and the medina. (B)
Drive south through the Moroccan countryside
to Marrakech, via the agricultural town of Beni
Mellal. Stay overnight at the Riad Slitine (or
similar) for 1 night. (B, D)
Transfer to the airport. Fly from Marrakech to
London with easyJet. (B)

Built at the end of the 19th century, the traditional residence was recently restored, preserving its original features. Located in the heart of the Medina, Riad Slitine is just a 5 minute walk from Djemma El Fna square and the nearby Jewish Quarter. It comprises of 3 interconnecting riads dating back to the 17th and 18th century and has 8 rooms and suites individually decorated in a Moroccan style. There is a small pool, hammam, massage, jacuzzi and beauty room and a restaurant. Due to the traditional architecture and design of the riad, the rooms may have small windows which are interior facing into the public areas of the riad.
