Visit biblical Jaffa, one of the
world’s first ports, and a longstanding centre of
commerce, culture and tourism. Later, explore
the historic Neve Tzedek quarter, bursting with
boutiques, galleries, stylish cafes and restaurants,
as well as beautifully restored houses that
preserve the romance of the early days of
Jewish urban settlement. (B)
Morning drive to Jerusalem.
Visit the Holocaust memorial at Yad Vashem,
and the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea
Scrolls are displayed. Stay at the American

Full-day tour of the old city
of Jerusalem, including the Mount of Olives,
the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy
Sepulchre, the Temple Mount and the Western
(Wailing) Wall. (B)

stopping en route at the rock fortress of
Masada. One of King Herod’s desert palaces,
the remaining ruins are perched high on a
plateau overlooking the Dead Sea, and can
only be reached by a short cable car ride.
Continue to the Dead Sea, where there will be
an opportunity to float in the salt waters. (B)
to Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee. There will
be time to stop at the picturesque Ein Gedi
Nature Reserve. Stay at the Scots Hotel,

Visit the Mount
of Beatitudes, from where Jesus delivered the
Sermon on the Mount; Tabagna, site of the
miracle of the loaves and fishes, and Mount
Bental, with views out to the Golan Heights. (B)
