Rainforest Edge, Sinharaja

Set atop the rolling hills of Waddagla with panoramic views of the Sinharaja forests, Rainforest Edge is a rustic eco-friendly lodge. Each of the 7 rooms is simply furnished and tastefully decorated. Facilities include a restaurant serving local cuisine, pool and an Ayurvedic centre. The property uses solar energy for hot water and a combination of kerosene lamps and conventional mains for lighting. The lodge is completely mod-con free with no air-conditioning, televisions or telephones. The use of mobile telephones is subject to network coverage.
