Arrive in Amritsar noted for its well-stocked bazaars, mosques, and temples of the Sikh and Hindu religion. Transfer to the Hyatt Amritsar for 2 nights. (N)
Morning visit to the Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion, and the Jallianwallah memorial. From here you will be taken for a stroll through Amritsar's market, the Ram Bagh Gardens and the summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Afternoon visit to Wagah on the India-Pakistan border to see the Sunset Retreat ceremony. (B)
