fascinating Cambodian capital, Phnom
Penh, and the smaller less-visited areas of
Battambang and Kep, this tour explores
the Angkor Archaeological Park and visits
the key sites as well as some smaller
temples. Dinners in Siem Reap are held
in private houses in the Cambodian
countryside. In Phnom Penh, discover the
city’s past with visits to historic buildings,
sample the local cuisine and, optionally,
take a cruise on the Mekong river. Finish
on Cambodia’s south coast, exploring the
islands and jungle.

Fly to Bangkok with Thai Airways. (N)
Arrive in Bangkok and fly to Siem Reap with
Bangkok Airways. Stay at Belmond La Résidence
d’Angkor for 3 nights. (N)
Full-day discovery of Angkor’s temples with an
expert guide who will suggest ways of avoiding
the crowds or seeing the places that interest
you the most. A sample tour starts at Ta Prohm
before the crowds arrive, then on to Banteay
Srei temple. Afternoon visit to the smaller, outer
temples, then into the countryside for a private
candle-lit dinner at Sala Roluos, a beautiful

Sunrise visit and breakfast at Sala Kdei, then
visit Angkor Wat. In the afternoon, tour Angkor
Thom and Bayon. Dinner this evening will be
served at the Sala Kdei private house in the

Optional morning helicopter ride over Angkor
Wat and Tonlé Sap (must be pre-booked), then
drive to Phnom Penh and transfer to the Raffles

Begin at Wat Phnom, the city’s first pagoda,
then visit some of the iconic buildings that tell
the story of Phnom Penh. See French colonialera
buildings, hidden back-street Chinese
temples, and the French Embassy, site of the
final evacuation of foreigners still in the city
when the Khmer Rouge took over in 1975. Finish
the tour with a view over the capital from one of

Day at leisure. Optional tour to visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, the Tuol Sleng
Genocide Museum and the killing fields of
Choeung Ek outside the city. Explore the
excellent National Museum with its collection
of Angkor-era art at your own pace. Optional
evening Mekong river sunset cruise (shared

Drive from Phnom Penh to Kep, and stay at the
