Follow the Way of St James, the
pilgrimage route to the cathedral of
Santiago de Compostela, where the
remains of Saint James the Apostle,
the patron saint of Spain, are said to be
buried. This tour starts in the Basque
Country and continues through the
regions of Castile and Leon before
finishing in Galicia, stopping to visit
the various architectural highlights and
museums en route. There is also a brief
detour into the celebrated wine region of
La Rioja, with a chance to sample some
of the produce.
