For centuries, the island of Cyprus has
attracted the major powers of the
Mediterranean, resulting in a colourful
mosaic of cultures and traditions.
Northern Cyprus is a quiet haven of
unspoilt natural beauty, ancient Roman
cities, crusader castles, Byzantine
churches and atmospheric abbeys. With
its rich and varied history, picturesque
villages and wonderful scenery, southern
Cyprus is also fascinating to explore.
