The Bay of Naples was once one
of the greatest centres of Roman
civilisation. The excavated remains of
Pompeii and the well-preserved ruins
of Herculaneum offer an unrivalled
glimpse into the everyday life of the
Roman elite. Combined with the stunning
Amalfi coastal drive, this makes for a
magnificent cultural and scenic tour.
There is also an opportunity to visit the
rugged landscape of the island of Capri.
