Akureyri holidays

Akureyri is Iceland's second largest town after Reykjavik, with a population of around 17,000. The town is located in the north of the island on the shores of Eyjafjordur and was founded in the ninth century. Today it is the cultural and administrative capital of the north and an important fisheries centre.
