Morning flight from London to Athens with
Aegean Airlines. Transfer to the Electra Hotel (or

Morning tour of Athens, viewing Syntagma
Square, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Zeus, the
Presidential Palace and the Panathenaic Stadium,
where the first Olympic Games of the modern
era were held. Continue to the Acropolis to view
the Parthenon and visit the Acropolis museum.
Afternoon at leisure to visit the National Historical
Museum or optional tour to Cape Sounion to view
the Temple of Poseidon. (B)
Morning drive to the ancient theatre at
Epidaurus, via the Corinth Canal. Continue
to Nafplio, where you will view the Palamidi
fortress, and on to Mycenae, the seat of King
Agamemnon who led the Greek armies against
Troy. Explore the ruined city, considered one of
the finest archaeological sites in Greece. Visits
are included to Lion’s Gate, the city walls and
the royal tomb. Continue to the Best Western
Hotel Europa, Olympia, where you will stay for
